Sam and Linda Green are designing their dream home in Apple Valley, Minnesota. Their 13-year-old son, Max, already 5'8", is a dedicated hockey player who also loves to read and spends much of his free time playing with their golden retriever, Rosie. Their two adult daughters, aged 22 and 24, visit whenever they can, while Linda’s father, Jack, stays with the family for six months each year. Jack uses a wheelchair but remains completely independent.
Sam, a physician, and Linda, a portrait artist, want a home that’s cozy yet spacious enough for big family gatherings and fully accessible for Jack. Sam and Linda love bold, eclectic designs, blending rich colors (except yellow) and playful patterns. They’re excited to leave behind their large, aging home for a newly built space that feels just right for their evolving family.
